No child should be put to death by their parents. No child should be starved to death by their
parents. "A father accused of slowly starving his 10-year-old son to death, slipping his body into a sleeping bag and dumping it in a rural area where it went undiscovered for a year." Even if you and your kid aren't getting along or something isn't going right it's not okay to just kill your kid. This was a 10 year old little boy. Nobody deserves to get their life taken like that but especially a person so young that hasn't even gotten to really live yet. "Prosecutors said the father locked his son in his room, where he slowly starved on a diet of bread and water." The dad was found guilty. I think it is so wrong for him to lock his little son in a room and starve him. I don't understand how you couldn't feel horrible about yourself. This is kind of like the Casey Anthony trial. She drowned her kid and then dumped him too, but she was found innocent. I think this guy deserves his whole life in prison and that's what the prosecutors are saying is going to happen. Even if the little boy was a trouble maker he still didn't deserve death. There's other ways to discipline.
If a parent is so sick of a kid that he wants to kill him he should just let the kid live somewhere else. "The boy's mother, Judy Williams, and other relatives did not see him for months." The boy didn't even live with his mom. His parents were divorced and he lived with his dad and step mom. If his dad was that mad at him he should've just sent him to his moms house. It's crazy how many lives are taken every day. Just like with all the shootings and explosions that have been going on. It's killing innocent people. "Johnathan's grandfather, Edward Ramsey, had contacted police early last year to ask them to search for the child because he had not seen the boy for more than a year." After the dad dumped his son he didn't even contact anybody saying he had went missing. After a year of him being gone the grandfather finally contacted the police. It's so wrong that the dad did that and the mom didn't even get to say bye or have any idea that he had killed their son. I think he needs to sit in prison for the rest of his life. The dad should've thought out other ways to not have to live with him if it was that bad.
